First session in ages, and I decided to go for flat water. Bit of a mistake. its was so gusty sailing decently was almost impossible! I rigged the 6.5 with new mast and boom (lovly equipmant) but was only planning 25% of the time. Came in and rigged the 8.5 on which I was either not planning or over powered! Still, the sail worked well in a staight line, but would not rotate. damn those cams! (If I can't sort it out I'll trade for a 8.5 T-bird 2...) on my run in to get some lunch I missed the deep water chanel that I was aiming for and rad aground. The catapult ripping the clamp off the boom. Time to go shopping instead!
Bring back SW winds - where the hell have they gone anyway?!
Never did like those HPL's.....
